Your bridal experience is personal. This policy explains how Laurel&Lace collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our website, book an appointment, contact us, or shop with our boutique.
Privacy, at a glance
- We use the details you share to help with appointments, styling, orders, and customer care.
- We never sell, rent, or trade customer contact details. Our website uses Google and Meta tools for measurement and advertising, as explained below.
- My favorites saves gown IDs on your browser only when you allow Preferences cookies. It does not create a customer account or automatically attach your shortlist to a booking.
- You can change your cookie choices or contact us about your information at any time.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide. This may include your name, email address, phone number, wedding date, appointment details, budget, gown preferences, measurements, order details, and the messages, photos, or feedback you choose to share. We also keep relevant styling and customer-service notes. If you contact us about employment, we receive the application information you send.
Our contact form asks for your name, email, subject, and message; a phone number is optional. Our appointment forms collect information needed to arrange your visit. Please do not send full payment-card numbers, government identification, or unrelated sensitive information through a contact form or ordinary email.
Information collected through the website. Our website and its service providers may receive IP addresses, browser and device information, pages viewed, referral sources, ad-click identifiers, cookie choices, and interactions such as completed appointment bookings. Cookies and similar technologies are described below.
Customer records. We use BoutiqueOS, our boutique’s customer-management system, to manage appointments, customer details, notes, and order-related records. Website bookings are sent to BoutiqueOS. A saved Favorites list is separate from these customer records.
2. How we use information
- Arrange and manage appointments, send confirmations and reminders, and respond to questions.
- Provide styling assistance, prepare and fulfill orders, and maintain customer-service and transaction records.
- Request feedback and improve our boutique, website, and booking experience.
- Understand website visits and appointment conversions, measure advertisements, and support relevant advertising.
- Send occasional promotional emails, subject to applicable requirements and your choices. You can ask us to stop these messages as explained below.
- Protect the website, prevent misuse, maintain consent records, and meet legal or recordkeeping obligations.
Booking an appointment or contacting us does not by itself give us permission to publish your personal photos or testimonial. Permission for that use is handled separately.
3. Who may receive information
We do not sell, rent, or trade customer contact details. Information may be handled by people and providers supporting our business, including website hosting and maintenance, appointment scheduling, BoutiqueOS, email delivery, order fulfillment, payment processing, and professional advisers. The information needed depends on the service, such as measurements and design details needed to prepare a gown order.
Google and Meta may receive website activity and device or advertising identifiers through their tools. They may combine this with other information they hold, including information associated with an account you use. These advertising-related disclosures are separate from selling a customer contact list; some privacy laws define advertising-related “sharing” or “sale” more broadly than a payment for information.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect rights, safety, and security. If the business is transferred, relevant records may form part of that transaction, subject to applicable requirements.
External links, social platforms, review widgets, and any embedded third-party content have their own privacy practices. Independent providers, including alteration businesses you choose to contact, are responsible for information you give them directly.
5. Retention and security
How long information is retained depends on its purpose, including ongoing appointments or orders, customer care, accounting and legal requirements, and resolving disputes. Cookie lifetimes are described above; these are not deletion deadlines for customer records in BoutiqueOS. Contact us if you would like us to review or delete a customer record. Some information may need to be retained for legal, transaction, security, or other permitted purposes.
We take precautions to protect information, but no website, email, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Our boutique operates in the United States. Our technology and service providers may process information in the United States or other countries, where privacy rules may differ from those where you live.
6. Your choices and privacy requests
You can ask us to access or correct your details, review the information we hold, or delete information where permitted. Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have additional rights, such as obtaining a copy, objecting to certain uses, withdrawing consent, or opting out of certain advertising-related disclosures. Rights and exceptions vary; this policy does not mean every privacy law applies to every visitor or to our business.
Email contact@laurelxlace.com with your request. We may need reasonable information to confirm your identity before disclosing or changing records. Please do not email identity documents unless we have discussed a suitable method with you.
To stop promotional emails or feedback requests, use an unsubscribe option where provided or contact us directly. We may still send necessary messages about an appointment, order, or request you have made. Cookie choices are separate from email preferences.
7. Children and public content
Our website is intended for bridal customers and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and address it.
Information you choose to post in a public comment or review may be visible to others. Avoid including private contact information or details you do not want published. Public third-party reviews remain subject to the platform’s own rules and privacy policy.
8. Updates to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or practices change. The date above identifies the latest version. If additional notice or consent is required by applicable law, we will provide it.
